It still hasn’t really hit me that this was my last competition with these people. I…don’t really know what to say, it doesn’t feel like the end at all because I’ve just really started getting close to everyone. Instead of being sad and wishing it wouldn’t end, I just have a lot of…hope. For the rest of the summer and how much we will see each other without the pressure of school. Really hoping that this past week was just a taster for a hangout schedule that will last for a long, long time to come. I love you guys. Truly. This team and the individuals that comprise it have given me everything that I wanted and so much more. It’s crazy how a month or two ago I never referred to breakthrough as a family because I didn’t want to use a word that I didn’t genuinely believe was appropriate. But now I can’t think of a better word to describe how I feel when I look around at everyone, whether at the studio, at the beach, at someone’s house, at a competition, anywhere. Can’t wait to be at our next rehearsal. I’ll be thinking of breakthrough all seven days I’m home. All my love. One more dance please. I don’t ever want this to end :’)

I just wanted to say thank you, my bestie with testes Dustin Yu.
I could not have survived this year without your friendship. Seriously. I’ve had so many memorable moments with you this year, in addition to all the memories we’ve made over our last 14+ years of friendship….our caterwauling to Celine Dion and Adele in the car, gushing over how good so-and-so is at dance, fan-girling over our dance crushes, freaking out over one thing or another (sigh yadidamean), ranting about school and how it always gets in the way of dance, getting boba and being fatasses, being PMS-y together, road rage, dancing while stuck in traffic. You’ve always been there for me, even though you’ve seen me at my worst and ugliest moments. You are always so kind and sensitive to everyone you meet. And you’re the most hardworking person I’ve ever met. I wish I could be more like you. Words cannot express how grateful and appreciative I am to have you as my best friend.
Breakthrough brought us together and I could not be more thankful for that.BRB gonna cry now and then get mexican food with you and Richard in like 30 minutes.
